Developing an online presence that makes it easy for customers to find what they are looking for.

The main challenge when planning this Australian water utility’s online presence was to present their diverse and often complicated structure and services to their equally diverse audiences and stakeholder groups. They needed to connect with everyone from household customers through to business users, trade contractors and schools.

We devised a site structure, information architecture and visual design that makes it as easy as possible for people to navigate to the resources they’re looking for. This was primarily an exercise in clarity and functionality and also provided a solution to the fact that the same information was often relevant to completely different user groups.
